Oklahoma (4-1) returns home for a pair games against two teams it will be facing for the first time ever: Southwest Missouri State (Friday at 7:30 p.m.) and Southeastern Louisiana (Saturday at 7:30 p.m.).

Another Shutout Win
The Sooners defeated Northern Arizona, 3-0, last Saturday in Flagstaff for their fourth shutout in five games.

Sophomore Logan Womack scored her fifth goal in as many games this season while freshman Christi Basgall tallied the first goal of her OU career.

Sophomore Heidi Martinson scored her first goal of the year while junior Jana Cunningham and freshman Catherine Wade combined on the shutout. The tandem tallied 11 saves.

Defense Continues
Oklahoma lowered its conference-leading goals-against average to 0.20.

Jana Cunningham has allowed only one goal in 330 minutes of play (0.27 GAA) while Catherine Wade has not been scored on this season in 120 minutes of action.

Dating back to last season, the Sooners have not surrendered a goal in three consecutive home victories.

Secrest Honored
Senior Christen Secrest was named to Soccer America's National Team of the Week on Tuesday after anchoring a defense that helped OU shut out Northern Arizona.

About SMS
Southwest Missouri State (3-1-1) lost its first game of the season on Tuesday, 4-0, to Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

SMS carries a balanced offensive attack with seven players accounting two or more points. Debbie Stark leads the way with five.

The Bears, who earned a berth in the 2000 NCAA Playoffs, defeated Oral Roberts, 3-1, on Sept. 9 in Springfield, Mo.

About SE Louisiana
The Panthers are 2-0 on the year after defeating Louisiana-Lafayette, 3-1, on Sept. 7, in Hammond, La. Cory Cochrane scored two goals in the victory, helping her earn Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors. She leads the team with three goals on the season.

*The Sooners' victory over NAU last Saturday, the only game to be played last weekend involving a Big 12 team, raised more than $1,000 for the American Red Cross.

*Catherine Wade notched her first career victory against Northern Arizona, holding the Lumberjacks scoreless for a half with five saves.

*Only a sophomore, Logan Womack rankds third in school history with 12 goals scored and 26 total points.

*Through five games, the Sooners have outscored their opponents, 14-1.

*OU is riding a five-game winning streak against non-conference opponents at home.

Friday's game with Southwest Missouri State will mark "Sooner Youth Soccer League Night."

Group discounts are available which includes a one dollar per ticket rate for a party of 10 or more. Teams who wear game jerseys qualify for a chance to win their squad Oklahoma Soccer T-shirts. One lucky team will be randomly drawn.

Also, several selected teams will be matched against each other halftime.

On Saturday, OU will honor its employees with "Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night"with three dollars off admission with proper school identification.
