Seven teams have qualified for the Big 12 tournament, leaving the final spot up for grabs between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. The Bedlam series game will be played on Friday at 7 p.m. in Norman. In case of a tie, the Sooners will qualify. OU hosts Arkansas in the regular-season finale Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Sooners challenged two of the top teams in the country last weekend on the road but fell short, extending Oklahoma's winless streak to five games.

On Friday, OU gave up a pair of early goals in a 2-0 loss to No. 14 Texas A&M in College Station.

Against Texas on Sunday, two first-half goals again doomed the Sooners as the Longhorns won their first conference regular season title with a 3-1 victory.

Sophomore Logan Womack scored her 12th goal of the season and OU's first in four games.

About Oklahoma State
The Cowgirls are looking to earn a berth in the Big 12 Tournament for the first time in program history.

OSU, like the Sooners, were defeated by Texas and Texas A&M last weekend on the road and are led by Jolene Schweitzer (18 points) and Kim Graves (17 points).

Oklahoma State leads the all-time series with OU, 5-0, including a double overtime win last year, 2-1, in Stillwater.

About Arkansas
The Lady Backs will meet Oklahoma for only the second time. The first game was in 1999 with OU defeating Arkansas, 3-0, in Fayetteville.

This season, Arkansas is 5-13 overall and 1-6 in the Southeastern Conference.

Julie Williford has 11 of the Lady Razorbacks' 30 goals and leads the team with 23 points.

Facts and Figures
*The Sooners need one more victory to tie the school record for wins in a season (10) set by last year's squad.

*A win against Oklahoma State would place OU at either the sixth or seventh seed in the tournament. The standings are based on a point system (three for a win and one for a tie). Oklahoma will move ahead of Baylor with a win and, if Iowa State loses or ties Nebraska, will jump ahead of the Cyclones as well. The Sooners would then face either Texas A&M or the Huskers in the first round of the tournament.

* OU's goal against Texas Sunday was its 31st of the season, breaking the record of 30 set by the 1998 squad.

*The Sooners lead the Big 12 in scoring defense (0.875), allowing just 14 goals in 16 games.
