Men's Tennis Rolls Over Oral Roberts

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team defeated Oral Roberts, 7-0, on Sunday, April 7, at the Oaktree Country Club in Edmond, Okla. The match was scheduled to be played at the OU Headington Family Tennis Center, but was moved indoors because of the bad weather. The Sooners improve to 11-6 on the season, and have won three consecutive matches.

The Sooners rolled over ORU, sweeping the six singles and three doubles matches. Oklahoma junior Tobias Kronlein returned to action for the first time since early February, winning at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles (along with Ollivier Monferran).

Oklahoma returns to action Wednesday, April 10, against Oklahoma State. Match time is set for 2 p.m. in Stillwater, Okla. The Sooners will have a dedication for their new facility, the OU Headington Family Tennis Center, on Saturday, April 13, when they take on Colorado at noon.
