NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma men's tennis team returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to Fort Worth, Texas, to face No. 29 TCU at 6 p.m.

The last meeting between the two schools occurred in 1990 when the Horned Frogs downed the Sooners 7-1.

TCU is led in singles by Cosmin Cotet who is ranked No. 83.  In doubles, Kriegler Brink and Cotet hold a ranking of No. 14 while Adrian Simon and Emanu Brighiu are currently ranked No. 51.

Oklahoma is ranked No. 35 in the March 4 release of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) team rankings.

Sophomore Andrei Daescu is ranked No. 27 in the ITA singles rankings.

Daescu and senior Federico Chavarria hold the No. 28 doubles ranking.

The Sooners home opener scheduled for Sunday was postponed due to the probability of heavy rains and high winds in the Norman area throughout Sunday.  The matches will be rescheduled but no date has been set as of yet.

Next, the Sooners host Memphis on Saturday, March 8, for the first home match of the 2008 season at the Headington Family Tennis Center.  The match is scheduled to begin at noon.
