NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's and women's basketball teams will hit the hardwood for the first time in public since their Final Four appearances at the 2002 Baseline Bash on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Lloyd Noble Center. Admission is free. The event will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the 2:30 p.m. OU-Iowa State football game.

The fun will begin with team autograph sessions that will last approximately one hour. Also slated are a brief highlight video and the unveiling of the teams' 2002 Final Four banners. The first 1,000 fans through the door will receive a full-color mini-poster commemorating the Final Four appearances.

Following the introduction of team members and the coaching staffs, both Sooner squads will take part in a variety of fun and aggressive drills for 30 minutes each. The women's team will precede the men's.

Of course, in the tradition of past Baseline Bash events, the night will conclude with a rendition of "Boomer Sooner" by the teams' newcomers. The OU men feature three newcomers this year while there are six new players on the women's squad.
