Every week during the fall season, will provide Sooner fans a candid look at the Oklahoma baseball team through individual question and answer sessions with each player.  This week Russell Raley answers a variety of questions ranging from what his favorite hobby is to who his hero was as a kid.

1. Why do you wear your jersey number?  It was the only number left my freshman year.

2. Favorite hobby:  hunting

3. Who was your hero as a kid?  Cal Ripken, Jr.

4. If you could bring one thing from your hometown, what would it be?  Land to hunt on

5. Who is your favorite non-baseball athlete?  Troy Aikman

6. What advice can you offer to kids just starting out playing baseball?  Have fun

7. If you could have one last meal, it would be ...  Steak and mashed potatoes

8. What’s your favorite OU tradition?  Boomer Sooner

9. Most interesting thing I did this summer:  Played in the TCL Futures Game

10. The OU record I dream of breaking:  hitting streak

11. The person in history I would most like to meet:  Jesus

12. The person I pattern my game after is ... No one.

13. If I could spend the day with anyone it would be ... Cal Ripken, Jr.
