NORMAN, Okla. - Pairings for Friday's first round of the 2010 Big 12 Women's Golf Championship in Norman were announced by the conference office today.
No. 10 seed Oklahoma will host the league's 14th-annual championship April 23-25 (Friday through Sunday) at the 6,327-yard, par-72 Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club. The 54-hole tournament will feature 18 holes each day, with play commencing at 8 CT each morning.
Fans are encouraged to attend the championship, which is free of charge.
Friday's opening round will begin with OU, No. 11 seed Kansas and No. 12 seed Kansas State teeing off on hole No. 1, and No. 4 seed Baylor, No.5 seed Texas Tech and No. 6 seed Iowa State starting on hole No. 10. Beginning at 8:50 a.m., No. 7 seed Nebraska, No. 8 seed Missouri and No. 9 seed Colorado will tee off on No. 1, while No. 1 seed Texas A&M, No. 2 seed Oklahoma State and No. 3 seed Texas will start on No. 10.
Saturday's and Sunday's pairings will be announced following the completion of Friday's and Saturday's rounds, respectively.
