Oklahoma Head Coach Sherri Coale
On playing at home: "We're happy to be here. We're happy to still be playing, happy to be in Norman at the Lloyd Noble Center and ready to get this thing kicked off."
Last year versus this year: "I think we're a little more relaxed this year. The girls have been through this before, and I just think they're anxious to throw the ball up and get going."
On the advantage of a home crowd: "It was a wonderful experience (to play in front of a home crowd last year). I think the sellout crowd may have made us a little more uptight though. I felt like the girls tried too hard to put on a great show for all 11,000 plus who had gathered to create the first sellout crowd for a women's basketball game. Now that we've done that (sold out a game) not only once, but twice, I don't think that will be a factor this year."
On Hartford: "They're going to play hard. They're a team that will fight and fight and fight and never go away. We'll have to be good for 40 minutes."
On Final Four hopes: "We'd all be very disappointed if a team from the Big 12 didn't make it to the Final Four. We're not going to get the monniker by our name until we make it to the Final Four. I think it's time to break through the glass ceiling and make it to the championship game. I realize I put the greatest amount of pressure on my team when I say that because we won the league and the tournament."
Senior Guard Stacey Dales
On playing at home: "I certainly prefer it. Any time you're at home playing in your own facilities and surrounded by your own community, there's a sense of comfort, relaxation and calmness. That's a lot better than having to go on the road where you have to face hostile environments and unfavorable conditions. So, we obviously like being here, but we're not afraid to go somewhere else if it comes to that."
Senior Guard LaNeishea Caufield
On Hartford: "I just think that we have to really be prepared for them, and we can't take them lightly. Everyone on our team is going to have to play hard and do their part."
This year versus last year: "We're more experienced this year. Last year was our first time to have the first and second rounds here. This year we feel more relaxed and confident."
Junior Guard Caton Hill
On Hartford: "Hartford is a very athletic team and we're going to have to go out and play our game. We have play the way we know how to play."
On playing at home again for the second year: "It was kind of overwhelming last year. We would come out and it was a full house. This year, we know it's going to be packed and we know anything can happen."
