NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma alumni trio competing at this year’s LPGA Q-School finals recorded another 18 holes of the 90-hole tournament on Thursday in Daytona Beach, Fla. Isabelle Beisiegel, Kendall Dye and Lisa Meldrum continued their hunt to join the LPGA tour for the 2010 season.
Meldrum moved up five places from Wednesday’s round and stands tied for fifth place after shooting a 2-under 70 Thursday on the LPGA's Legends Course. She owns a two-round score of 141 (-3) and is just three shots out of first place.
Beisiegel carded a second-round 76 (+4) on Thursday and is tied for 70th place with Dye at 150 (+6). Dye recorded a second straight 75 (+3) Thursday.
Three more rounds remain in a tournament that features a $50,000 purse. The top 20 players will earn priority status for the 2010 LPGA season.
