Sunday's NCAA Women's Tip Time Changed to 6 p.m.

NORMAN, Okla. - Due to coverage of the war in Iraq, the NCAA and ESPN/ESPN2 have adjusted times for the first and second rounds of the 2003 Division I Women's Basketball Championship games this weekend. With the time changes, the Oklahoma Athletic Ticket Office has extended its operation hours to the East entrance of the Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sooner fans may also purchase tickets on the internet at www.soonersports.com.

OU is now offering a group discount rates for all session tickets of $15 per ticket for groups of 10 or more people.

Sunday's opening game between second-seed Villanova and 15th-seed Saint Francis will now tip at 6 p.m. inside the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla. Host team Oklahoma, a 10th seed, will take on seventh-seed George Washington 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. Second round tip times will be announced following the completion of all games on Sunday.

The Athletic Ticket Office will be open at the East entrance to the Lloyd Noble Center for walk up all session and single session sales on Sunday. Hours of operation will be 1 p.m. through the 2nd game.

Gates will open for admission two hours prior to game time. Will call will open 2.5 hours prior to game time.
