Men's Tennis Rolls Over Oral Roberts

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team defeated Oral Roberts, 5-0, on Wednesay, April 17, at the ORU Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. The Sooners improve to 12-9 on the season, while the Golden Eagles drop to 8-13 on the year.

The Sooners rolled over ORU, sweeping four singles and three doubles matches. Junior Chris Mitchell was victorious at No. 5 singles, extending his singles winning streak to five matches. Junior Matt Ogle won in straight sets at No. 4 singles, improving to 12-4 on the season. In doubles action, sophomore Sebastien Revol and freshman Brad Prigmore won at the No. 3 spot, giving them a team-high nine wins.

Oklahoma returns to action this weekend for a pair of home matches against Nebraska on Saturday, April 20, and Texas Tech on Sunday, April 21. Match times are set for noon on both days at the OU Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman. This will be the Sooners' last home matches before the Big 12 Tournament, which is set for April 26-28 in Colleg Station, Texas.
