Updated Info on 2007-08 Freshmen
April 25, 2007

NORMAN, Okla. -- Now that the 2006-07 season has been over for a full month, the Oklahoma women's basketball program and its fans are looking toward the future.

With eight returning letterwinners, including starters Courtney Paris, Amanda Thompson and Jenna Plumley, the Sooners have been a consensus top-10 pick in the (very) early preseason polls that are already circulating on the internet (check below for links to the polls).

OU will be one of the youngest teams in America next season with no senior class, three juniors, five sophomores and three freshman.  Point guard Danielle Robinson, forward Carlee Roethlisberger and shooting guard Jenny Vining comprise a class that has been ranked in the top-10 nationally.

Now that the incoming freshmen have completed their high school careers, SoonerSports.com brings you updated information on each of soon-to-be Sooners.

7. Coach Coale on Robinson’s senior year...
“Danielle continued to do what she has always donewin!  As Archbishop Mitty claimed its third state title, Danielle ran the show.  She is the consummate point guard who was concerned far more about her team’s success than her own statistics.  That being said, she still averaged 15 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.”
