Men's Mini Season Tickets Available

NORMAN, Okla. - With the college basketball season just around the corner, the University of Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office announced various economical men's basketball mini season tickets packages on Friday.  Two eight-game packages are available, as well as four four-game packages.

The eight-game "Boomer Package" costs only $100 (just $12.50 a game).  Opponents include Norfolk State, Liberty, Villanova, UT Arlington, Nebraska, Longwood, Texas Tech and Texas.  The $100 "Sooner Package" features tickets to games against TCU, Coppin State, SMU, Colorado, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Kansas.

The four-game packages cost just $60 ($15 a game).  The "Villanova Pack" includes games versus Norfolk State, Villanova, Longwood and Texas Tech.  "Texas Pack" games include Liberty, UT Arlington, Nebraska and Texas.  The "OSU Pack" gives fans the opportunity to see TCU, Baylor, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State, while the "Kansas Pack" includes tickets to games against Coppin State, SMU, Colorado and Kansas

The OU men's team, piloted by first-year head coach Jeff Capel, begins official practice this Friday evening.  The Sooners play exhibition home games on Oct. 31 against Oklahoma Christian and Nov. 5 versus Central Missouri before opening the regular season at home Nov. 10 against Norfolk State.
