Men's Tennis Falls To Texas A&M

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team was defeated by Texas A&M, 6-1, on Saturday at the Texas A&M Tennis Center in College Station, Texas. The Sooners fell to 0-4 on the road this season, and 5-4 overall. The Aggies improved to 10-2 on the year.

Oklahoma's Alex Nomicos dropped the first set in his No. 6 singles match, 3-6, but won the next two, 6-4 and 6-2, to earn the Sooners' only win of the day. In doubles action, OU's tandems of Ollivier Monferran and Matt Long at No. 2 and Sebastien Revol and Brad Prigmore at No. 3, battled but lost 8-4 to the Aggie duos.

Oklahoma returns to action March 18 against Chaminade University. Match time is set for 2 p.m. in Honolulu, Hawaii.
