Oklahoma out-rebounded Syracuse 50-43. It was the Sooners’ highest rebound total since collecting 59 against Sacramento State in their season opener.  Syracuse entered the game +16 on rebounding margin.

Oklahoma’s .556 (10-of-18) 3-point percentage was its highest since hitting 58.3 percent (7-of-12) against Texas in a 91-62 in Norman on Feb. 19, 2011.

The Sooners face Xavier for the third and final game of the Duel in the Desert at UNLV’s COX Pavilion.  OU is the lone team in the bracket that can end the tournament undefeated.

AARYN ELLENBERG
Ellenberg extended her OU record streak of games making a 3-pointer to 29. Ellenberg was 3-of-4 from beyond the arc as part of a 6-for-10 shooting performance. Ellenberg totaled 14 points.

WHITNEY HAND
Hand put Oklahoma on the scoreboard first with a layup and 1.  The free throw was her 750th career point.  Those three points would be the only she scored in the game. 

The junior totaled a game-high nine rebounds.

MORGAN HOOK
Hook scored 21 points, one shy of her career high.

Hook was 6-of-9 from the field and made five of seven 3-point attempts.

JOANNA MCFARLAND
McFarland scored a career-high 19 points, hitting 8-of-11 field goals.
