NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team was defeated by Wichita State, 5-2, on Wednesday, March 27, in their first match at the OU Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman. The Sooners fall to 0-1 at home this year, and 8-6 overall. Wichita State improved to 7-8 on the year.

Junior Matt Ogle and freshman Brad Prigmore were victorious at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively. Ogle defeated Ben Cramp, 6-4, 6-2, and Prigmore downed Juan Escalante, 6-4, 7-6. Ogle teamed up with junior Chris Mitchell to take No. 1 singles, 8-6.

Oklahoma returns to action Saturday, March 30, against Oral Roberts University. Match time is set for 11 a.m. in Tulsa, Okla.
