NORMAN, Okla. Three Oklahoma men's tennis players have been selected to compete in the 2003 Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. Sophomore Tommy Garrison (Enid, Okla.), sophomore Alexei Ivanov (Izhevsk, Russia) and junior Matt Long (Ft. Worth, Texas) will compete in the three-day tournament starting Fri., Oct. 3.

Garrison will participate in pre-qualifying singles action, while Ivanov and Long will participate in the main draw at No. 1 doubles. Garrison completed his freshman season with an overall record of 18-16 in singles action and a solid 20-10 doubles performance with former Sooner Chris Mitchell. The duo qualified for the 2003 NCAA Doubles Championships. Ivanov and Long concluded a 2003 campaign with an impressive doubles mark of 18-4.
