OU Women's Tennis Set To Play Houston

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's tennis team heads to Texas to face Houston on Saturday, March 4. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. at the John Hoff Houston Tennis Complex located on the University's campus.

The Sooners are looking to snap a four-match losing streak and pick up their first road win of the season.

As an Oklahoma native, Houston's coach, Matthew Thompson (Central Oklahoma, 1997) is in his first year for the Cougars. Houston just returned from El Paso were they snagged a win against UTEP (# 70), 5-4. Houston has a 4-6 record on the season.

In the last meeting against Houston, on February 13, 1998, the Sooners won 7-2.
