NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's soccer team will be one of the very few Big 12 Conference schools to play in an intercollegiate athletic contest this weekend. OU will face Northern Arizona on Saturday in Flagstaff, Ariz., beginning at 3 p.m., CDT.

Oklahoma was allowed to play because the team had already arrived in Flagstaff before the decision by the Big 12 to cancel all weekend games was announced. The conference has allowed any member school that arrived at its destination prior to the announcement to proceed with its contest. The school's opponent must be non-conference as well.

The Sooners are 3-1 on the year and will face Northern Arizona (2-1) for the first time. Both teams were originally scheduled to participate in the NAU Mountain Classic this weekend, which also consisted of IUPUI and U.C.-Santa-Barbara. Those schools will not be playing this weekend.
