NORMAN, Okla. -The 25th-ranked University of Oklahoma volleyball team travels to Lubbock, Texas to face Texas Tech on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. CT. GameTracker and a webcast are available at SoonerSports.com.

Oklahoma leads the Big 12 with the fewest blocks allowed (1.62) and ranks second in service aces allowed (0.86) ... The Sooners ousted No. 8 Texas in five sets (25-16, 25-20, 17-25, 24-26, 15-9) Wednesday night ... The win was OU's third ever in the series against the Longhorns and first since 2008 ... OU hit .248 against a Texas team that held opponents to an average .182 clip entering the match ... Wednesday's attendance of 2,074 was the second largest ever at McCasland Field House ... OU has hit .350 or better in 20 sets this year, including 11 of 14 sets during the Oklahoma Invitational.

Team leader in assists with 41 against Texas ... Also had seven kills, oner service ace, 11 digs and two block assists against the Longhorns ... Led the team in assists against Baylor with 43 ... Junior María Fernanda was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 26 ... Fernanda led the Sooners with 21 digs against Texas and went perfect in 27 service receptions ... Fernanda was OU's defensive leader in a four-set win at Baylor. She averaged 6.75 digs per set, totaling 27 against the Bears ... Brianne Barker registered her 11th double-double of the season with 41 assists and 11 digs against Texas ... Suzy Boulavsky led OU with 20 kills and a .452 hitting percentage against Texas ... Tara Dunn recorded her third double-double of the year with 16 kills and 10 digs ... Sallie McLaurin leads the Big 12 with a .403 hitting percentage ... She's the only player hitting .400 or better ... Dunn had a match-high 29 kills and recorded her first career double-double with 15 digs at Wichita State on Sept. 14 ... Dunn's 29 kills were the most for a Sooner in a single match since Christina Maynes had 30 against Missouri on Nov. 15, 2003 ... Dunn set a rally scoring match record (both eras) in attempts (85). Dunn committed just two attack errors to hit .318 ... Grace Whitley hit a perfect 1.000 against Texas Southern on Sept. 16. Whitley connected for 11 kills in 11 attack attempts.

Texas Tech leads the all-time series 34-24 but Oklahoma has won 11 straight ... Tech holds a 14-7 lead in matches played in Lubbock but OU has won five straight there ... Oklahoma's last loss in Lubbock was Sept. 21, 2005, (3-0).
