Security Measures In Place At LNC

Norman, Okla. - Oklahoma will continue the security measures that have been in place at the Lloyd Noble Center when the Sooners host first and second round games in the 2003 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament this weekend.

All bags, backpacks, large cases for binoculars or other items, fanny packs and large purses (larger than 10" by 10") are prohibited and banned. Only those items required for medical or family needs will be permitted. All carried items and entrants are subject to search. No re-entry to the building will be permitted.

Saturday's practices are open to the public and there is no admission charge. No. 2 seed Villanova will practice from noon-1 p.m., followed by No. 15 Saint Francis from 1:05-2:05 p.m. No. 7 George Washington will practice from 2:10-3:10 with No. 10 Oklahoma practicing from 3:15-4:15 p.m.

Sunday's first game between Villanova and Saint Francis starts at 6:05 p.m. The OU-George Washington game will begin 30 minutes after the completion of the first contest.

All-session tickets are currently on sale at the Oklahoma Athletic Ticket Office for $30 (adult) and $20 (college student and under). NCAA tickets may be purchased from 8-5 p.m. by visiting the OU Ticket Office located on the Plaza Level of the Asp Avenue Parking Facility or by calling 405-325-2424 or 800-456-4668. On Saturday, March 22, tickets will be available for purchase at the East Box Office at the Lloyd Noble Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, tickets will be on sale beginning at 1 p.m. Will Call tickets will be available at the OU ticket office until 5 p.m. on Friday. Will call windows will open on Sunday at 3 p.m.
