LAWRENCE, Kan. – Oklahoma's defense held Kansas to 155 yards (2.5 per play) and the Sooners clinched a berth in the Big 12 Championship Game with a 41-3 road win. OU outgained the Jayhawks by 314 yards and improved to 10-1 overall and 7-1 in league play.

The win was the Sooners' nation-leading 16th straight in true road games and their 14th consecutive on the road in Big 12 play to set a league record.

Baker Mayfield completed 20 of his 30 pass attempts for 257 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover. He now has 128 total touchdowns as a Sooner, breaking the previous school record of 126 by quarterback Landry Jones (2009-12). Mayfield also set the outright Big 12 record by completing a TD pass in his 37th consecutive game (every contest of his OU career). He has thrown at least two TD passes in 24 straight games, believed to be the second-longest streak in FBS history. Today marked the 15th time as a Sooner that he threw at least three TD passes without an interception.

Rodney Anderson led OU with 77 rushing yards on 16 carries (4.8 average) and caught two passes for 39 yards, including a 34-yard score that put the Sooners up 7-0. Marquise Brown (24-yarder) and Mark Andrews (3-yarder) also caught TD passes, while Jordan Smallwood (3-yarder) and Trey Sermon (25-yarder) ran for scores.

Freshman tight end Grant Calcaterra caught a career-high four passes for a team-high 67 yards.

Kicker Austin Seibert made both of his field goal attempts (27 and 32 yards) to run his streak of makes to 10.

The Sooners host West Virginia in their regular season finale next Saturday. Kickoff time has not yet been announced.
