Why Oklahoma?
“I chose Oklahoma because it felt like home to me. I fell in love with the college town and the softball community at OU. Oklahoma has always been my dream school and it is so surreal that my dream of playing Division I Softball at the University of Oklahoma is finally coming true. With that being said, I am looking forward to growing not only as an athlete, but also as a person, and the amazing opportunities that OU will bring me.”

Coach Gasso Says
“I think Alexa is going to be another nightmare for pitchers because she never gets cheated. She played for her dad during travel ball, and we have always seemed to have success when bringing those types of players into our program. She’s going to be an extremely potent player offensively and a complete player overall with her defense. She does not let things fall in the outfield; anything hit in her direction, she’ll make the play.”
