  • Oklahoma’s win-streak reached nine; the longest since 13 in 2013.
  • The game marked the first meeting with CCSU since the 2004 NCAA Oklahoma City Regional.
  • The Sooners recorded 20 strikeouts; reaching double figures for the seventh time this season. It marked the highest team-strikeout total since 19 against Little Rock (5/4/10).

  • Fanned five in a row for the second time in his career and was the last OU pitcher to do so against Oklahoma State (4/20/16).

Austin O’Brien:

  • Drove in his ninth run of the year and extended his hit-streak to eight games.

Steele Walker:

  • Extended his career-best hit-streak to 14 games with a one-out single to right in the fourth.
