NORMAN, Okla. -- Beginning Valentine’s Day, Sooner Sports TV powered by FOX Sports begins a second season of unprecedented coverage of OU baseball and softball.

Follow Patty Gasso’s national championship softball team as they defend their title and get a front row seat for Pete Hughes’ first season as OU’s baseball head coach. Sooner Sports TV will broadcast 35 Sooner baseball and 28 softball games live online or via FOX networks in 2014.

The OU baseball broadcast package includes 32 of 33 home games and live webcasts of OU’s games at its Orlando, Fla., tournament. Additionally, OU’s March 11 game versus UT Arlington at the Rangers Ballpark will be televised by Sooner Sports TV.

The OU softball broadcast schedule will bring 28 of 30 home contests to the web or television. The Sooners’ first nine home games, concluding with OU’s Courtyard Marriott Tournament will be exclusive premium content on SoonerSports.tv. Beginning March 18, the remainder of OU’s home games will be televised, with 19 produced by Sooner Sports TV for FOX networks.

Sooner Sports TV will also produce another season of "Rounding Third," a 10-episode highlight show co-hosted by Chad McKee and Gasso and Hughes, who will alternate appearances in studio.

Sooner Sports TV programming is delivered on existing FOX Sports channels including FS Southwest, FS Oklahoma and FCS, reaching approximately 9 million homes in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. Outside of this four-state region, select programming is available to more than 80 million homes on either FCS via cable providers or outer market regional sports packages offered by satellite providers.
