The Red River Showdown
The 2014 OU-Texas game will be played on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. The game kicks off at 11:06 a.m. and will be televised nationally on ABC.
The game is one of the country's most spectacular. Staged during the State Fair of Texas, the contest is witnessed by a crowd perfectly defined by color -- half crimson, half burnt orange -- in an atmosphere that is arguably more unique than that found at any other game. This rivalry is one that marks time and gives players and fans alike experiences for a lifetime.
In the map above, we've indicated several locations of note for Sooner fans. (1) is the location of the OU Athletics Ticket Office Will-Call. (2) is the street where the OU team buses will approach the stadium. (3) is the tunnel entrance where the Sooners will take the field surrounded by a sea of crimson. (4) is the location of the official OU Athletics merchandise tent.
Sooner fans can also print or download individual maps covering the DFW area, driving directions to Fair Park, parking, fair grounds and Cotton Bowl seating chart/gates. Here they are in one convenient Fan Packet PDF.
