NORMAN, Okla. - University of Oklahoma head baseball coach Larry Cochell announced today that Sooner pitching coach Jackson Todd has resigned. Todd had been with OU for the past three seasons.

There is not a finer person than Jackson Todd and we are extremely grateful for his efforts on our behalf during his time here, Cochell said.

Todd, a former Sooner All-American pitcher in 1972 and 1973, spent time with both the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays before becoming a minor league pitching coach with the Texas, Milwaukee and San Diego organizations.

Cochell said the resignation is effective immediately and indicated that there is no timetable in naming Todds successor.
