  • Oklahoma played its first road game after a 19-game homestand; tied for the longest in program history (1976).
  • The Sooners lead the all-time series against Georgia Tech, 6-1, including the 1994 CWS National Championship.
  • Head coach Pete Hughes is 12-15 all-time against Georgia Tech during his time at Boston College and Virginia Tech.
  • Oklahoma is 8-4 against ACC opponents since 2010.
