Clear Bag Policy
The approved clear plastic bag size is a maximum of 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. Even those bags are subject to search.
Non-transparent clutch purses no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches are permitted.
Bags necessary for medical equipment will be searched at marked medical lanes at each gate.
No other bags or purses including diaper bags are permitted and the limit on bags is one per person.
It is still recommended that fans not bring bags of any kind to the stadium. If it's possible to enter the stadium empty-handed, it guarantees a quicker, smoother entrance.
Only those items needed for medical or family needs plus empty, clear personal-sized containers suitable for drinking water are permitted. All carried items and entrants are subject to search. Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of such items is subject to arrest.
Prohibited items must be returned to the owner's vehicle or discarded. Items left at the gate will be discarded.
Fans not bringing bags or other allowable items into the facility are strongly encouraged to utilize Express Lanes. Chair back seats are available for sale/rental at Sooner Seat Customer Service booths.

Metal detectors are located at each gate. It is recommended that fans arrive sooner to allow extra time for stadium entry. Stadium gates open two hours prior to each game for the general public. Suites, clubs and loge box entrances open two-and-one-half hours prior to kickoff.
Fans need only to empty only cell phones, keys and metal objects larger than keys from their pockets before screening. Fans are NOT required to remove belts, shoes or other small items such as coins, jewelry and watches.
If metal is detected, a person will be required to go through a secondary screening with a wand so other fans can continue to move through the metal detector.
Medical lanes are marked around the stadium for fans who require alternate screening methods.
All permitted bags and those containing medical equipment will be searched at gates prior to entry.

Nearest Concessions and Restrooms
The nearest concessions and restrooms can be accessed by going down the seating bowl aisles. Below the south seating sections are Level 2 Fan Plaza concessions in the southeast and southwest corners of the seating bowl. Additionally, vomitories below the south seating also lead to additional large concession stands, restrooms and fan shops at the Level 2 concourse.
Access to Level 4 Fan Plaza
Fans can access the Level 4 Fan Deck from the Level 2 concourse by using the south stairs towers at the south ends of the Level 2 concourse at Gates 14 and 17, or from the seating bowl by utilizing the aisles between Sections 41 and 42 or Sections 46 and 47 to the Level 4 Fan Plaza.

Gate 1 Path
Enter through Gate 1, proceed straight to ADA ramp to field level ADA seating show ADA ticket to security for access. Travel down the ramp to field level concourse and enter via ramp to field level ADA seats. To access Level 2 concourse ADA seating, travel left to ramp at Gate 2. Proceed to Level 2 concourse and access via southwest or southeast vomitories. For Level 4 concourse ADA seating, utilize Elevators 1 and 2 to Santee Lounge/Level 4 concourse and access via southwest or southeast vomitories.
Gate 2 Path
Enter through Gate 2, proceed right, turn left to ramp and show ADA ticket to security for access. Travel down the ramp to field level concourse and enter via ramp to field level ADA seats. To access Level 2 concourse ADA seats, travel right to ramp at Gate 2. Proceed to Level 2 concourse and access via southwest or southeast corner vomitories. Other Stadium Pathways New for 2017
Students & Premium Gates (open 2 hours prior to kickoff)
Students (Gates 7, 12), student-athletes (13) and suite and club seat holders and Santee Lounge guests (Gates 1, 3, 10, 15, 16) may enter the stadium two hours prior to kickoff. All others may enter 90 minutes before kickoff. Student ticket upgrades will be addressed at Gate 7.
General Stadium Access
Gates for general public entry are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 11. An Access Management System is used for entry at all gates. The bar code on each ticket will be scanned by the gate attendant. Each individual is encouraged to hold their own ticket to assist in expediting the scanning process. As fans enter the stadium, they should make sure that the ticket-taker has scanned the ticket(s) to ensure that your attendance is counted towards priority points. If a ticket is damaged and cannot be scanned, fans should visit one of the ticket resolution centers at Ticket Office near Gate 1 and gates 5 and 7.
East Suite & Club Seat Holders
East side suite and club seat holders may enter through Gate 10. Gate 10 is accessible via glass doors on the inner concourse for those entering the stadium via other paths.
Getting from West to East and East to West
Fans should proceed to Level 2 via the Gate 1 stairs or escalator and follow the open-air concourse around the south end zone to the stairs or escalator at the Gate 11/12 area and vice-versa.
**Please Note: Access on the walkway through the south seating bowl between Sections 42 and 46 is restricted by ticket location. Fans are advised to use the outer open-air concourse to move from the west side of the stadium to the east and vice-versa.
Santee Lounge Bridge
The Santee Lounge bridge in the Asp Ave. Parking Facility is now restricted to Santee Lounge ticket holders only. Please utilize Asp Ave. Parking Facility elevators down to Gates 2/3 area for all other stadium entry.
Re-entry to the stadium is only permissible for those patrons departing for medical/emergency purposes and only with a pass out check and ticket stub.
Due to road construction in Norman, the Norman Police Department has provided recommended traffic routes to use as a guideline on game day.
We also recommend using a traffic app such as Waze to help in navigating to and from campus.
These streets near the stadium are closed beginning four hours prior to kickoff:
(1) Lindsey St., which runs east and west along the southern edge of the stadium will close at Elm (west of the stadium) to just east of Jenkins Ave. Only those patrons with parking credentials for the Asp Avenue Parking Facility will be able to access Lindsey. They must approach from the west.
(2) Jenkins Ave. will be closed south of Page to all traffic except for those with a Field House parking pass and south to Farmers Street.
(3) Brooks will be closed from Jenkins to Trout to all traffic but those with a parking pass for the Brooks Lot, Monnett Lot, Duck Pond Lot or East Side Stadium Suites Lot. No traffic except emergency vehicles and authorized support vehicles will be allowed west of Monnett on Brooks or south of the entrance of parking lot A-10 on Jenkins (Field House Lot). The Norman Police Department will no longer permit parking on Brooks Street between Jenkins Ave. and Classen Blvd. on game days. This area will remain clear to help ease postgame traffic congestion. Any vehicles parked in this location on game day will be towed.
General Public Parking
Public parking is limited on the main campus on game days. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.
Free parking is available at the Lloyd Noble Center, located approximately one mile south of the stadium. There is a shuttle that unloads one block south of the stadium on First Street. The shuttle provides return trips for one hour after the conclusion of the game. Patrons may ride the Lloyd Noble Shuttle for a $5 round-trip fee.
For pay parking lot locations, please refer to the football parking map. There is a $30 charge for parking. Spaces are allocated on first-come, first-served basis.
The City of Norman will be enforcing parking restrictions on all streets on game days. The primary area of enforcement will be “No Parking” areas that are not exempted on game days. Please take the time to read the signs before parking on a city street.
Certain lots will be reserved on game days. Please refer to the football parking map for locations of those lots.
Reserved physical disability parking is available for a fee and is located in the Asp Avenue Parking Facility connected to the west side of the stadium. For more information on physical disability parking, please call the parking office at (405) 325-3311.
Free game day parking is available at the Lloyd Noble Center (located approximately one mile south of the stadium).
The disability shuttle originates at the Lloyd Noble Center and unloads on Asp Avenue, immediately west of the stadium by Gates 1 through 4. Because of the high demand for the shuttle service, the service is restricted to those patrons who have a disability and one (1) caretaker for riders needing additional assistance. Patrons with a disability may ride the disability shuttle for a $5 per round-trip fee.

Sooner Village | RV Parking
The OU Athletics Department is pleased to offer 130 RV hookup spots with 50 (208 Volt) and 30 (120 volt) amp options in the southwest parking lot of Lloyd Noble Center and non-electric spots in the northwest parking lot of the Lloyd Noble Center. The Lloyd Noble Center is located approximately one mile south of the Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. After parking, there is a shuttle service available. Bus parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Lloyd Noble Center. There is no charge for bus parking and space cannot be reserved. For more information, please call the parking office at (405) 325-3311.
Game Day Shuttle
The game day shuttle transports people from the Lloyd Noble Center to Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium every home game. The shuttle runs continually, starting three hours prior to game time until one hour after the game. For the homecoming game, the shuttle starts four hours prior to kickoff. Cost to ride the shuttle is $5 per round trip.
Tailgating on football game days is a wonderful and longstanding tradition at The University of Oklahoma.
The University's tailgating policy is designed to ensure:
- The comfort and enjoyment of game day patrons;
- The safety, security, and well-being of all people associated with game day activities, and
- The safeguarding and preservation of all public property under the management of the University.
The setting up of tents, awnings, and similar equipment may commence at 12 noon on the day immediately preceding the game, most typically on Friday for a Saturday game. Space may be occupied between 8:00 am and noon, but stakes may NOT go into the ground until 12 noon. Space may NOT be occupied or reserved before 8:00 am. All items must be taken down and removed by 12 noon on the day immediately following the game, typically Sunday. Abandoned tents may be at risk of damage or theft.
Any such items that are set up outside of this timeframe or that collapse or are blown off their sites will be removed by the University. The University Administration and Finance Office, (405) 325-5161, may be contacted for information about how items may be recovered. Items not claimed within a reasonable time may be disposed of by the University at its discretion.
Tents, awnings, and similar equipment must be securely anchored. Stakes may not be longer than 12 inches to avoid interfering with underground utilities. Tents must be set up no closer than 3 feet from either side of pedestrian walkways. Tents must be set up no closer than 10 feet from any University building. Tents larger than 400 square feet require a permit, contact Fire@ou.edu.
Tents, awnings, similar items, and tailgating activities of any kind are not allowed at several locations including, but not limited to, the North and South Ovals, Jacobson Hall and Carpenter Hall lawns, Heisman Park, Burr Park, Headington Park, Oliver Walk, Brooks Mall and areas adjacent to Brooks Mall including lawn north of the stadium and lawn south of Wagner Hall, the NE corner of Lindsey and Jenkins Streets, Residential Colleges lawn, and all student residential areas, (Student groups permitted by the Office of Student Life will be allowed near residential areas.) Tailgating activity that takes up vacant parking spaces or otherwise interferes with vehicle movement within a parking lot is prohibited. In order to protect parking lot surfaces, tents, awnings, and similar items that require ground stakes are prohibited.
The University will provide and locate portable toilets at convenient locations around the grounds. Individuals, groups or businesses are prohibited from moving the portable toilets or bringing or arranging the delivery of their own toilets.
Generators may be used so long as they do not damage University property; if a generator is placed on a grassy area it must rest on a board or other hard material to protect the grass and soil beneath.
The hooking into, connecting to, or similar use of University utilities and/or television or communication cable services is prohibited.
Food and beverages shall be for personal consumption only. Sales are prohibited.
Open flames are prohibited; gas and charcoal grills with covers are permitted. Gas and charcoal grills are prohibited in ALL University parking garages. Grills cannot be left unattended. It is the responsibility of the individual to provide a fireproof container for the disposal of coals and remove said container from university premises.
Corporate or commercially sponsored tailgates are prohibited except in designated locations. Those who wish to organize and provide such sites should contact Sooner Sports Properties at (405) 325-2148.
Companies are prohibited from issuing free or sample products without being properly licensed by the University. The University Real Estate Operations Office, (405) 325-6041, may be contacted for information.
Small non-University vehicles such as golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, and the like are prohibited on campus, and are subject to impound. Bicycles must be parked at bike racks.
Trailers and vehicles are prohibited from parking on the grass. Trailer parking is allowed at any ‘paid' lot - permits are NOT required. Permit Lots - permits ARE required. A permit is required for the vehicle; an additional permit is required for the trailer.
The use of any tobacco product is strictly prohibited on all University property.
Except as may be specifically authorized by University Administration, the operation of drones/unmanned aircraft systems on University property is prohibited on home football game days. Drone Policy
Stadium A to Z
Fans are encouraged to #ArriveSooner to avoid delays into the gates with new enhanced screenings. Fans are encouraged to not bring bags to help expedite screening.
Point-and-shoot cameras with lenses shorter than six inches are permissible. No video cameras, professional camera equipment or long telephoto lenses allowed.
Chair Back Sales/Rental
Sooner Seats are available on a season lease for $55 after July 1. The price increases to $60 after August 1. Single game rentals are also available for $10 at any Sooner Seat Customer Service booth. Sooner Seat Customer Service booths are conveniently located at Gates 1, 5, 7 and 11/12 as well as the upper west concourse. For more information, SoonerSeats.com.
Concession stands are located throughout the stadium. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
The Athletics Ticket Office on the plaza level of the Asp Ave. Parking Facility immediately west of the stadium will have a window dedicated to ADA/Wheelchair ticket exchange on game day or call (800) 456-GoOU. Availability is limited and fulfilled first-come, first-served.
In case of evacuation, instructions will be relayed via the public address system and video boards. Gate personnel and ushers will assist you in exiting the stadium.
Express lanes are located at all gates to expedite entry for patrons bringing no items into the stadium.
Game Day Info
Guest services kiosks to address questions or concerns are located in the four corners of the stadium at Gates 1, 5, 7 and 11/12 as well as on the 2nd level south, east and west concourses.
Student Gates 7 & 12 and suite/club seat holder Gates 3 , 10, 15 and 16 open two-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff. All other gates open two hours prior to kickoff.
In the event of inclement weather, guests will be advised to seek shelter immediately; please follow instructions of game day ushers
Lost and Found
Lost items recovered during the game will be delivered to the Norman Regional Gomer Jones Medical Facility office on the north side of the stadium near Section 19. After the game, all unclaimed items are turned over to OU Facilities Management. Phone: (405) 325-6953.
Parents/Guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest police officer or event staff member. If a child gets separated, he/she should notify the nearest police officer or event staff member. Pick up a Tag-A-Kid wristband at the OUPD booth at Fan Fest or at any guest services kiosk. The wristband allows a parent or guardian to fill out section, row, and seat number in case the child becomes separated from his/her party. This is a free service for all fans.
Merchandise and Game Programs

Sooner Fan Fest
Sooner Fan Fest, a free interactive fan entertainment area, is held prior to each home football game. Sooner Fan Fest opens three-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff and closes a half hour prior to game time. Sooner Fan Fest is located on the north side of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

The OU Athletics Ticket Office is located on street level immediately west of the stadium. Office hours are Monday through Friday
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On game day, the ticket office opens at least three hours prior to kickoff. Will call is located in the main ticket office. Photo ID is required to receive tickets. Will call is open at least three hours prior to kickoff on game days.
Please have your tickets in hand before arriving at the gate. All tickets contain barcodes which are scanned to allow entry into the stadium. Do not remove the stub containing the barcode from the ticket and confirm that a barcode is present prior to arriving. If
